Greggs can be found on the UK's high streets, local shopping parades, and, increasingly, retail, industrial and business parks, airports, bus/rail interchanges, universities and other locations where people live, work, travel and spend their leisure time.

We are a baker and a retailer, with ten regional bakeries supplying our 1,500 shops; a central savoury production unit, making all our savouries; and our own fleet of 375 delivery vehicles, to ensure our food is fresh each day for our customers.

We currently employ approximately 19,000 people and we plan to add 500 new shops in the next few years, creating up to 6,000 new jobs.

Our regional bakeries bake food for daily delivery to our shops. We also have 90 in-store bakeries, with skilled craft bakers providing freshly baked food.

We are expert bakers, with 289 Master Bakers, who have 2,254 combined years of baking experience!

We hand make every single sandwich in each shop throughout the day. Sandwiches are made fresh each day and do not have sell-by dates. The sandwiches are made with our own recipe bread, baked and delivered fresh each day from the regional bakery.

We bake off all our savouries little and often in the ovens in our shops, to give our customer quality, freshly baked savouries throughout the day. Our savouries are also baked fresh every day in the shops and therefore, like our sandwiches, do not have sell-by dates.

Our bakeries hand finish millions of products each week, from speciality icing, to hand twisting our yum yum doughnuts and hand crossing our hot cross buns.

We believe we are different because we make and bake most of our food from scratch - our ‘wheat to eat' proposition.
