My client is leading FMCG manufacturers who are looking to further strengthen their Operations Team by employing an Operations Manager, based in East Midlands or, South Yorkshire. They are a multi-site organisation covering numerous market sectors.
Initially sitting under the Supply Chain Director, you will be tasked with the day to day operational leadership of the manufacturing functions on site, accountable for the delivery of performance improvement across a balanced set of metrics. You will be a key stakeholder in the delivery of a number of projects on site, ensuring that the day to day operations are not affected. You will be tasked with creating high performing teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and striving to improve both systems and performance at all times. Along with this you will also be tasked with the planning and projection side of the business, working very closely with the national supply chain.
Ideally somebody with a strong FMCG background and a proven manufacturing professional, you will have a demonstrable track record of driving change through a performance orientated approach and a balance scorecard of KPI’s. The required individual must be a strong man manager and have a proven track record in managing and monitoring large manufacturing teams. A background of supply demand planning would be preferential however non-essential
