This established and growing organisation representing several international brands are looking for an experienced Development Chef to join their expanding NPD team. Reporting to the Head of Production, you'll be part of a team of Chefs to produce innovative products that are truly in line with current and future food trends as well as the company’s strategic vision.
You'll be researching and identifying new market opportunities through the development of new ranges and production techniques as well as improving their broad repertoire of existing products. With your eye on the latest food trends you’ll use you culinary vision and expertise to interact with major customers and impress them with your inspiring and innovative concepts for new business in the dynamic market. In addition to creating tempting treats you’ll be responsible for preparing budgets and determining cost effective ways to produce outstanding results whilst ensuring that all technical aspects and obligations are complied to and fulfilled. The role will also involve working closely with the factory team to ensure products translate properly into production and can be scaled up with consistency and integrity.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chef who has NPD experience within chilled food manufacturing where you have acquired and developed a good working knowledge and creative flair for bakery and pastry products. You’ll have excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate effectively and most importantly be able to develop mouth watering and innovative food concepts that consumers will love.
