Technical Manager/ Qulaity Manager - Food Industry
Our client is very dynamic and forward thinking food manufacturer who through their continued growth now have a rare opportunity for a highly motivated Technical Manager to join their business.
Reporting to the Head of Technical this role as Technical Manager will be an integral part of the management team. Heading up a small team, the primary objective of the role will be to manage all aspects of the Technical Function whilst maintaining the Grade A BRC accreditation and ensuring high food safety standards are adhered to as common practice. You will be responsible for the quality management systems as well as all complaints and you will need to implement robust procedures to ensure investigations are properly co-ordinated and brought to a satisfactory conclusion. You will be heavily involved in both internal and supplier auditing and you must identify any areas that may leave the business at risk and report your findings in a clear and effective manner. You will also be tasked with the development of your team to assist them in growing with the business as it pursues its aggressive expansion plans.
Already working in a food manufacturing environment you must have experience either as a Technical Manager or as a Quality Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career. Extremely focused you should be passionate about your work and all things Technical. Whilst you are a big team player you must also be firm in your ability to defend the strategy and position of the business and you should possess demonstrable experience dealing with the multiples.
