A premium end food business is looking for a Technical Manager for its Chilled Food category to join its team in South East England.
The Technical Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing supplier performance and standards within your category including regular audits
- Working alongside the New Product Development team from concept through to launch
- Managing specifications and time monitoring product safety and quality
- Continuously driving and improving quality standards
- Being the Technical point of contact for major retail customers
The ideal candidate will be:
- Degree educated or equivalent in Food Science or a related discipline
- Experienced working within the Technical function of a food manufacturer or retailer
- Experienced in Chilled and Frozen Food with high care/high risk exposure
- Experienced in Project Management
- A qualified audittor with experience of working with major retail customers
