Shift Production Manager

This highly respected sector leader, supplying chilled food products to the major multiples, is now looking to strengthen the manufacturing operation with the appointment of a Shift Production Manager.
You will assume overall responsibility for maintaining and improving profitability and manufacturing performance levels across your shift. You will be required to drive production whilst initiating and implementing continuous improvement programmes aimed at reducing costs and improving productivity. A key part of this role will be to consistently monitor and improve the effective use of resource, providing leadership and support to the operations management team, identifying development needs where necessary.
You will already be in a production management role within a fast moving responsive production environment. You will be customer facing and used to working with the major multiples.
