You will act as the key stakeholder with full accountability for all on site and factory based technical matters. Customer contact will feature as an integral and high profile part of the remit, as will auditing, product quality management, factory compliance, specifications and codes of practice. You will also manage an extensive quality assurance and technical services team. There are on-going CI projects underway aimed at maximising efficiencies and so driving manufacturing improvement and hence technical excellence.
With a preoccupation with quality and service delivery, a passion for food safety and a personable demeanour, you should be proactive, competent and resourceful. Leadership skills are key as is the experience of own label chilled food supply. This should be all supported by a degree/HND in science and significant technical or quality management experience.
