Ringtons Limited is a long established, family owned tea and coffee business, producing high quality products under the Ringtons brand and for renowned own label customers.
We seek an experienced Technical Manager to drive our quality, technical and environmental strategies within the business.
Reporting to Senior Management, you will manage the site quality team to ensure products are manufactured to the highest possible standards, and you will support the manufacturing team in instilling a quality culture throughout the site.
You will also ensure appropriate systems and training are in place to maintain our position as a leading supplier of quality goods.
You will have experience of, and be responsible for BRC and PPC compliance to the highest level, GMP maintenance, HACCP and the overall management and performance of technical and QA functions.
You will also be responsible for driving our environmental agenda, reporting on performance and improvement activities.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent), with at least 4 years technical experience within the food industry. A strong knowledge of major retailer requirements from a technical perspective is essential.
Equally important is a passion and enthusiasm for the role, together with excellent communication and leadership skills.
