Located in the pleasant countryside of Buckingham in our modern facility offering a pleasant work environment, we seek an outstanding Technical Manager to provide leadership in managing the company’s Quality Management and Technical Systems and for their continuous improvement. Our Product range covers Lentils, Pulses, Beans, Spices, Rice, Flours, Nuts and Dried Fruits, Canned Food Products, Food Ingredients etc.,.
You will provide leadership to the company in all aspects of Technical and Quality Management Systems; ensuring compliance with current and evolving Food Safety Legislation and BRC standards; you will be responsible for managing your team for all aspects of QA and QC activities, from receipt to processing of raw materials into finished products; to be current and provide advise continually on changing Food Safety, Food Hygiene, Labeling, Health and Safety Legislations; provide advise in situations of non-conformance, complaints, product recall; you will lead the HACCP team; you will lead the BRC team in maintaining the company’s A grade BRC accreditation status; you will be the company’s technical interface with customers in providing innovative solutions to their existing and NPD needs and in managing customers’ code of practice and audits; you will lead, train and develop the company’s Technical and Production team in maintaining the company’s QMS; to maintain continuous GMP; you will conduct regular internal audits and follow through to ensure swift remedial and corrective action; ensure full traceability is maintained by all departments during receipt / intake, production / processing and dispatch of goods.
You will have a Food Science, Science degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar capacity in the food industry; in addition you should have recognized training / qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety and Internal auditing and be exposed to working in an ERP based manufacturing environment.
