A Multi Skilled Engineer is sought for a large blue chip food manufacturing business.
Our client, based Northampton, produces a wide range of both chilled and ready meal products. This site is part of a large international food manufacturing group, so if you're hungry for success and crave career progression, this is the company for you.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and as part of the wider engineering team your responsibilities will include attending factory breakdowns, carrying our planned preventative maintenance and assisting in driving the change from 'repair culture' to improvement culture' across the business.
You will be a multi-skilled, electrically biased engineer and ideally will have had a formal engineering apprenticeship. You will already be working in a high-speed food manufacturing environment and have some experience of Lean manufacturing techniques.
