The role: Responsible for driving food innovation ideas and plans. Assist in the creation of long term menu planning
-To build capability and expertise in all areas of food development process
-Responsible for ensuring that new and existing cooking techniques are safe and comply with safety assurance
-To work with universities and research organizations to establish access to in depth understanding of food science including flavor and taste.
-Responsible for accuracy and production of all nutrition and allergen data
The Candidate
-Graduate or post graduate qualification ~ Preferable in Food Nutrition / Food science
-Commercial or marketing experience preferable
-5-7 yrs food technology / science experience in major food / food service retailer at senior level
-A detailed understating of nutrition and allergies
-Creative and practical
-Understanding of profit accountability
