In this very exciting Senior NPD Technologist opportunity you key responsibilities will include
- To create and drive concepts that will deliver against the commercial plan for the business, including continuing to be the first choice for our existing customers and playing a key role in the expansion of company brand.
- Overall project manager for the NPD process with responsibility to set up and lead factory trials and for ensuring that the critical path for each project is adhered to and costs are managed.
- To become the development expert for the business, advising on feasibility of products throughout all stages of the development process and using your knowledge of the market place and raw materials to contribute to concept development.
- To lead the development and implementation of a robust NPD gate process for the business. To become the champion of the gate process, including ensuring its visibility and communication throughout the business.
- To act as the development contact liasing with customers throughout all stages of the development process establishing strong working relationships re-enforcing a partnership orientated approach.
In this role you will need to have an very creative flare whilst also being very structured in your approach to follow through processes. You will also be energised, self motivated, entrepreneurial and have the can do attitude to drive forward the business from a NPD Capacity.
