NPD Technologist

Are you a switched on foodie looking for your next NPD project management role where you’ll be developing products for the UK retailers?

Supplying a range of delicious chilled products this fast moving, innovative food manufacturer are looking for a talented NPD professional to drive this category forward. Reporting to the NPD Manager you’ll take responsibility for managing projects for a major multiple accounts. You’ll liaise with internal teams to ensure products are of the best levels of quality and efficiency in line with factory capabilities whilst acting as the first point of contact for your key customers, keeping them up to date on the latest NPD projects, presenting product concepts and ensuring a smooth product launch. This is a varied and fast paced role where you’ll utilise your consumer awareness and food innovation skills to help deliver exciting new products into a growing and highly competitive market place.

We are looking for a passionate, focussed and commercially astute NPD Technologist who has previous experience of working in a customer facing development role within the chilled sector of food manufacturing. You’ll have worked directly with the UK retailers and will fully understand their NPD process and approach to developing new products. As well as being a strong Project Manager with the ability to drive multiple projects within set budgets and deadlines, you'll need to have great presentations skills and the confidence to excel in a customer focussed role.
