NPD Manager

Due to continued growth they are seeking to recruit a commercially astute and innovation focused NPD Manager to lead development activity for a key customer. With responsibility for working directly with a high profile customer this is a real opportunity to flex your creative muscles. You will be responsible for delivering truly innovative development solutions through an excellent understanding of the market place and food trends as well as your own creative skills. You will be able to deliver against customer briefs but crucially be proactive in delivering new concepts and maintaining the market leading position the business already holds. We are seeking a truly passionate individual who is able to contribute an inspiration and challenge orientated approach to their team of technologists and manage with the utmost enthusiasm and motivation their training and development needs. Degree or HND qualified in a food science or related discipline you should already have gained experience of leading a team of technologists in a food manufacturing environment, experience gained in a Senior Technologist role would be ideal. We are seeking a candidate with a real passion for food and excellent commercial instincts. You must be able to develop and implement your own NPD strategy and be experienced in presenting to customers and developing strong customer relationships. As well as good innovation skills you should be able to show proven experience of improving and re-developing products and ranges.
