drive product strategy and deliver new ideas that will ensure they continue to stand out.
You will take responsibility for leading your team to drive product strategy and lifecycle management combining feedback from commercial, marketing and Consumer sources to lead strategic product development. This will include range reviews, growing market understanding and using data to measure and improve product performance. You will be required to work closely with sales teams to help increase profitability through a very proactive approach. You will develop and maintain a market relevant product portfolio which maximises business competitiveness. Ensuring a constant flow of appropriate new products will be a key part of achieving this goal.
You will be degree qualified and have Customer / Trade or Category Marketing experience, ideally gained within a consumer durable or fast paced branded FMCG environment. You will be able to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness combined with confidence to interpret data effectively. You should be able to demonstrate competent category management and NPD life cycle experience. The ability to lead and develop a team is also a key part of the role. You will have a can do attitude and be able to cope with an increasing level of complexity.
