An exciting opportunity for an experienced Specifications Technologist working for a very successful food manufacturing company.
OUR CLIENT
Is one of the UK's leading food manufacturing groups providing an impressive range of chilled products into the major supermarket retailers.
THE ROLE
Will be to reporting into the Senior Specifications Technologist working within the Technical Team.
The Specifications Technologist will be responsible for coordinating information for new product specifications, updating and maintaining specifications when information is updated, checking new product shelf life from the laboratory and converting them to product specifications and managing deadlines.
THE CANDIDATE
In order to succeed in this role candidates will demonstrate the following:
*A degree or HND in Food Technology or equivalent.
*At least one years' experience in a specifications technologist role dealing with a large retail account such as Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury's.
*A high level of computer literacy - Microsoft Excel/Word and Internet.
*Methodical approach, be highly organised with good prioritization skills, the ability to work to short deadlines and attention to detail.
*Drive, energy and enthusiasm and great communication skills.
