An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced NPD/Senior NPD Technologist to join a global organisation which supplies creative and exciting products into the Industries most highly respected retailers and Food Service customer. This is a maternity cover role and could lead to permanent opportunities.
My client is looking for a passionate individual with ample experience in NPD. You will be a confident and self motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Accountabilities:
*Develop new products and where necessary cost engineer existing products in a way that complements the business strategy using commercial and customer feedback, market trends and innovations as well as personal ideas and influences.
*Work with other internal functions and external suppliers to ensure that products successfully translate from the kitchen to the production line.
*Organise and attend customer and supplier presentations when necessary, and build and maintain strong professional relationships with them.
*In partnership with the Commercial team, manage product introductions from concept to launch ensuring that the product meets both internal and external expectations.
