As part of their continued focus on product and packaging innovation, the business is looking to appoint two individuals to its Packaging Development Team. The role of Packaging Technologist will be responsible for delivering packaging expertise to the NPD and EPD procedures, whilst providing support in product transfers, cost reduction activities, packaging validation and CI, whilst driving packaging development to achieve strategic imperatives and improve cost effectiveness. You will be responsible for packaging control systems, evaluate and managed packaging changes in line with business plans, drive packaging component trials to completion and maintain compliance in all activities.
You will be a packaging professional, ideally with an Institute of Packaging diploma, and have experience within the FMCG or pharmaceuticals environment. You will have strong project management skills, and be able to work across geographic boundaries and with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and in budget. You will be pragmatic, able to deliver new packaging concepts to launch, and to use your broad commercial awareness to ensure projects will deliver to the bottom line.
