Our client is one of the largest “field to shelf” meat processing companies in Europe. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Pasture Manager / Agronomist.
Responsibilities:
· Must have detailed knowledge of soil tilling, planting scheduling, grass mixtures option
· Conduct analysis of pasture soil & estimation of potential pasture yield
· Work closely with the Cattle breeding divisions to determine demands in feeding (volumes/quality)
· Development and implementation of the program for increasing pastures’ production (nutritive value / hectare)
Requirements:
· Expert in understanding local conditions & developing programmes to increase yields
· Expertise in soil, optimization of grass mixtures
· Can-do approach
· Strong communication & analytical skills
· Commercially aware
