EBLEX is the organisation for beef and lamb levy payers in England. It is responsible for the setting, execution and monitoring of English strategic priorities and levy spending.
EBLEX exists to enhance the profitability and sustainability of the English beef and lamb sector. Its aims are to help the beef and sheep meat supply chain become more efficient and to add value to the beef and sheep meat industry. A key priority is to exploit opportunities for Assured beef and lamb products and influence the English market.
EBLEX require a highly skilled and motivated butcher to assist the trade marketing function of the organisation. The role will include various tasks assisting the trade marketing team deliver its broad remit of adding value to the beef and lamb sector. You will also be involved with new product development, butchery demonstrations/presentations in addition to liaising with small to medium enterprises in order to discuss new business ideas that improve their way of working.
You will be an excellent communicator who is confident in presenting in front of an audience, creative and customer focused and proficient in new butchery methods, in particular seam butchery. We are looking for the best. The role is unique in regard activity and function, and is an excellent opportunity for someone to enhance their butchery career to another level. Full training and assistance will be provided.
