We are looking for an experienced Food Technical Manager to join our team to be our Company expert in Soil Association regulations, SALSA requirements and to ensure that all annual audits for our stores and production units are successful.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to Soil Association requirements including traceability and labeling by working closely with both our development team for production and our retail sites.

You will ensure that the business complies with food hygiene and food safety legislation as well as advising alternative methods for continuous improvement.

You will also provide advice to managers on all food safety matters, and hold food hygiene training for our staff.

Requirements for the role:

We are looking for someone with a qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a relevant discipline, with 3 to 5 years experience in food production.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated that they have the ability to work independently.

Experience with organic standards is advantageous.
