NPD Technologist - 12 month contract

Supplying a diversity of high profile customers with premium quality products our client is a market leading food manufacturer. Continued investment allows excellent scope for NPD activity and innovation is considered very important in supporting continued growth and success. Reporting to the NPD Manager you will be responsible for managing the NPD process from concept through to launch. As project manager you will liase with all levels internally and externally throughout the process including marketing, sales, production and engineering and with customer technologists. As a creative force you will be tasked with developing new products and managing their implementation in the factory through all stages of production trials. In addition you will manage the re-development of existing products to ensure process and cost optimisation. We are seeking a candidate with creative vision and a real passion for NPD. You should have excellent knowledge of current market trends and be able to translate these into commercially feasible products, experience of working directly with customers is advantageous. You should have experience of managing products through all stages of the NPD process to fruition. Most important will be your Project Management skills as you`ll be a key driver and need to manage multiple projects at any one time. We are seeking cover for a 12 month period however site and group wide opportunities will be available.
