Is a supply chain specialist operating principally in the airline sector managing complex distribution programmes for food and beverages throughout UK and Europe using warehouse and transportation partners.
THE SYSTEM MANAGER ROLE
The business utilises a custom software suite to manage inventory, material flow and a range of integrated elements designed to support the business and its' customers' needs across the full spectrum of service delivery.
This is a key role in the organisation and the emphasis is on the management and control of the software system. Key tasks include:-
*Liaise with the customer service and buying teams to ensure the right product is available at the right time and in line with stock holding criteria
*Work with the other members of the global team in highlighting issues and best practice
*Maintain all data accurately and up-to, inclusive of product master data and product prices
*Understand forecasting system.
*Maintain price lists within the system in synchronisation with pricing system
*Maintain and manage the base stock counts and order replenishment processes
*Together with sales staff, compile analysis of supplier compliance with designated order lead times.
*Good educational achievements: graduate preferred.
*Customer service or account management experience with a leaning on analysis and report preparation.
*An understanding of catering, performance management and analysis tools would be an advantage.
*Excellent IT skills required as there is substantial use of company ERP software and forecasting software.
*Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Car driver required.
