Our client is a market leader in food manufacturing supplying to the major UK multiples with an enviable reputation for success. In order to help the business deliver it's on going development plans they are looking for a Commercial Executive to provide support and assistance to the Commercial Manager through maintaining and developing the data systems and tools. You will be working with the Commercial team on a day to day basis to manage the applicable customer account and to deliver the site budget/profit and margin.
The person will have/be:
*Of graduate calibre with commercial experience in the food industry
*Determined, enthusiastic with strong influencing and organisational Skills
*Confident communicator
*Knowledge of the retail market and trends including competitors and product ranges
*Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
*An understanding of the customer business strategy.
*IT literate with the ability to use IT skills to minimise resource and operating costs.
*Ability to evaluate situations considering opportunities, issues and possible outcomes.
*Lateral and creative thinker who takes an analytical approach to solve problems.
*Ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure.
*Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
*A passion for food !
