Regional Director - Food

A leading £multi million company providing high quality products across the UK and internationally require a strong technical leader. They pride themselves on their customer focus, integrity and team working capabilities. This is a role with responsibility across a broad product portfolio which includes international operations. You will be a senior technical expert (from a technical, retail or consumer law background) and be responsible for leading all strategic, capability and technical matters across a range of food and non-food products and the supply base. You will work in partnership with a range of country managers and suppliers, ensuring and promoting best practice. The ability to provide clear leadership and implement the right strategy in order to deliver ethical, quality and safe products will be crucial. The ability to react and pro-actively plan for the technical demands that arise as the business grows will also be a key part of the role. A graduate with technical experience in food manufacturing or retail environments, you will have broad technical skills and be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to your work. You will be able to build credibility quickly and enjoy delivering results in a hands on capacity. You can calmly react to unexpected business demands and are able to motivate people to achieve high standards as an experienced leader. A strong commercial outlook is essential. You will have a strong customer focus and be able to operate in a fast paced work environment. There will be international travel across Europe with this role. This is a senior role with great prospects.
