My Client is starting up a new site. They Manufacturer their products in the US but they are looking to get into the European Market. This site in Peterborough will be where the manufacturing takes place for their new European Market. It is still a very embryonic business and they are looking for someone who can help get them moving.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong man management style and have genuine drive and determination to take this company forward. Someone young, hungry, dynamic who wants to grow with the business. The candidate will be taking on a Production Supervisor / QA Supervisor position and need to be someone prepared for a challenge. This is not going to happen over night so we are looking for a strong character with plenty of energy and enthusiasm, who has had experience as a Quality supervisor or team leader in the food industry and is looking to take a step into a very progressive business.
A good understanding of HACCP and BRC is needed. When they are not involved in production and quality standards you will be getting involved in the admin and systems side of things.
Initially it will be a 6 month contract- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. However, they are looking to take someone on permanent and if you do well could turn into a full time position.
The candidate MUST have a food science or similar degree.
