Due to continued growth, I am looking to recruit a QA/Food Technologist to join an exciting and well-established food manufacturing company based in the South London area.
Your main duties will be to maintain and continually refine the company’s QA system and ensure that products purchased, received & packed are safe, legal and comply with the companies specifications. You will need to work closely with suppliers and customers in order to achieve mutual objectives, using a systematic approach based on risk assessment (HACCP).
You will need to have a proven track record in a similar role having previous experience in supplier approval, QC monitoring, dealing with customer complaints, product specifications, quality management systems and many other duties. Ideally you will have 2-5 years experience of working this type of role in a food manufacturing environment. You will need to have excellent organisation & communication skills and will need to be able to work cross functionally with various departments. You must have a can do attitude and willingness to learn, as well as the motivation to work hard.
