Excellent opportunity to join this successful food manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation, product quality and customer service. As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering function in the delivery of improved equipment performance whilst raising the operating standards in the factory.
You will manage a team of multi-skilled engineers to provide technical expertise and in-line management of maintenance and process engineering. You will manage all available resource, within approved plans, in order to achieve agreed results whilst contributing to the overall management and profitability of the business. You will also play a key role in the site’s management team whilst driving the engineering function through clear leadership.
A graduate calibre engineer, you will be able to demonstrate comprehensive experience of planned preventative maintenance, progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement initiatives that have had a direct impact on the business performance. An initiator of change, you will have the influencing and interpersonal skills to drive this through people and the attention to detail to deliver commercial value.
