A blue chip food manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Planning Manger or Supply Chain Manager to spearhead improvements across their modern manufacturing facility. This business continues to go from strength to strength so this represents a fantastic time to join an already successful team.
Within this challenging and fast paced role you will report into the Head Of Operations and take full control of the Production Planning Function to control inventory levels and provide excellent customer service, whilst delivering new product launches on time and in full. It will be imperative that you have the capability to challenge and change the status quo and deliver tangible benefits across operations, supply base and customer services. With this in mind it is essential that you have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and engage all key functional heads and develop clear strategy for improvement.
Highly analytical you will also be proficient in the use of MRP as a key focus in this role is to review the current system and lead the implementation of a plan to improve the effectiveness of the current system.
The ideal candidate will be of Graduate calibre and have a proven track record of success as either a Planning Manager or Supply Chain Manager from within a fast paced and demanding food or FMCG manufacturing environment. You Ability to determine both tactical and strategic business issues and turn these into prioritised actions. As a manager you will have an engaging and coaching style possessing Constant drive, enthusiasm and self motivation with ability to motivate others and strives to go beyond what is expected
