Essential experience required:
Degree in relevant science or a closely related discipline
Significant leadership experience or demonstrable leadership behavioural profile
Master skills in HACCP
An appreciation of the safety, legal compliance, compositional and quality aspects across the fresh product range and a clear understanding of their related technologies
Specialised technical or manufacturing knowledge across a breadth of Food/FMCG product technologies
Significant post-graduate experience in the manufacturing and retail industries
Lead assessor qualification and/or significant experience of supplier auditing along with the ability to train others
Train the trainer (preferred but not essential)
Identified qualifications required for product area e.g. Canning qualification
Commercial acumen which facilitates a contribution to the supplier strategy
Ability to lead crisis situations such as product withdrawals and recalls
Experience of change management
Excellent leadership skills
Developed influencing skills and an ability to "take people with you"
Investigative, analytical decision maker
Highly developed planning, organising and project management skills
Experience in Food/FMCG Sectors in Chilled Products is essential.
