Part of a £400 million+ Group, the business is innovative, growing and has a customer base which includes some of the biggest names in the Food Manufacturing, Foodservice and Retail sectors. An outstanding individual is now required to help take the organisation to the next level.
You will be responsible for a £multi-million portfolio which includes several ‘blue-chip’ names in the baked products sector. By getting close to the customer you will understand and anticipate their needs; by collaborating closely with colleagues in Sales, Marketing and Product Development you will be proactive in presenting product ideas which cement the customer relationship and drive up business. There are clear growth opportunities in the market and in this mainly UK-oriented role your activities may extend into mainland Europe.
Commercially astute, you will have a proven ability to see the ‘big picture’, to identify opportunities and exploit them. You will have outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship skills and the ability to engage others and carry them with you. You should have a Food Science degree or equivalent with extensive B2B ‘technical sales’ experience, ideally within this sector although success in other industrial food sectors would also be of interest.
