Factory General Manager

Following an internal promotion our client requires a Factory General Manager for their 250,000 sq ft fruit packhouse, there arecirca 750 staff on site producing 185 million packs of fruit & 27 million packs of nuts a year. Reporting to the Southern Regional Operations Manager the successful candidate will have responsibility for:

- Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager and HR Manager

The successful candidate will an established Factory General Manager who will be able to focus on the following areas:
1. Leadership - inspiring teams to look at the bigger picture, how have they embraced a business objective and cascaded that into the teams?
2. Talent Management - how have they put plans in place to build future leaders, manage performance etc, key on creativity i.e. not a 1 size fits all approach.
3. Drive performance - how do they turn around an underperforming site or area etc.
