The Role
Following a restructure within the Logistics department to bring Transport and Despatch together under one management structure, we have several vacancies for the newly created role of Logistics FLM. Working as a key member of the Logistics management team, you will provide leadership and motivation to the Despatch and Transport groups and ensure the company products are safely assembled and delivered to customers on time and in full.
Skills/ Experience
Applicants will require the following: -
• CPC qualified or with motivation and demonstrable ability to achieve the qualification
• Car drivers licence • Strong leadership and management abilities, which have preferably been demonstrated in previous roles
• A strong customer service ethic; always willing to go the extra mile
• PC literacy, including a working ability with Excel spread sheets, PowerPoint and Word
• Numeracy, literacy and strong analytical skills • Strong communication skills, orally and written
• The ability to build close working relationships with a wide range of employees, suppliers and customers
• The ability to take a logical approach to decision making
• The ability to operate and make decisions effectively in a fast paced, pressurized environment Previous experience in transport logistics operations is desirable but not essential.
