Senior Technical Manager - £75,000 + Benefits
Are you looking to further your career and take total ownership of this chilled food manufacturing site from a technical point of view. We are looking for a high calibre Senior Technical Manager with strong chilled/high care experience to take control of the technical, process and hygiene functions for one of the sites of this large food manufacturing group.
You will be expected to maintain, develop and implement the Quality Manual ensuring compliance to the BRC Technical Standard and organic standard for food safety. As part of this role you will recruit, lead and develop the technical and hygiene teams including structure and succession plans. You will have set KPI's to achieve and lead the implementation of systems such as HACCP and BRC and assist with the implementation of, and where applicable adopt, World Class Manufacturing Standards.
The successful Senior Technical Manager candidate must have outstanding communicational skills and have experience of leading and developing teams. You must have experience of implementing systems and procedures and knowledge and experience of BRC legislation and regulations with in a chilled environment. It would be advantageous to have a degree or higher food qualification in food science and knowledge of world class manufacturing.
