Technical Manager

A growing multinational organisation providing high quality branded and own label products across the UK and several international markets wish to recruit a knowledgeable Technical Manager. They pride themselves on their customer focus, integrity and team working capabilities. You will have responsibility to lead all technical matters across a range of salad products and suppliers. You will use your skills to ensure the correct specifications and highest quality standards are met through robust quality practices. This will include auditing to BRC and internal requirements and ensuring compliance with the latest food safety regulations. As a Technical Expert you will be able to work in partnership with a range of suppliers and commercial teams, ensuring and promoting best practice. The ability to provide clear leadership in order to deliver ethical, quality and safe products will be crucial as is the ability to react and pro-actively plan for the technical demands that arise as the business grows. Of graduate calibre with technical experience in food manufacturing or retail environments, you will have broad technical skills and be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to your work. Experience of produce or chilled products is an advantage. You can calmly react to unexpected business demands and are able to achieve high standards. You will have a strong customer focus and be able to operate in a fast paced work environment. A strong commercial understanding is crucial.
