Process Development Manager

Innovative products, great people and a friendly environment are at the core of this food manufacturer supplying high profile retail customers with added value chilled products. Having undergone real growth with existing and new customers they are seeking a Process Development Manager to join their team. You will manage new products through the project lifecycle from concept to launch and will be responsible for process improvement initiatives on site. This will include leading Technologists to optimise the scale up of recipes from kitchen to production and assessing and improving existing processes, technology and systems. Projects will include improving product and process performance and cost and quality optimisation. You must be able to gain buy in from all levels internally whether it be project or expenditure related. You will have regular customer contact and an exciting schedule. We are seeking a graduate qualified or experienced Senior Process Technologist wishing to develop their career. You may already be a Process Manager wishing to gain different product experience. You will have process development experience gained in a food manufacturing environment and you should be able to show exceptional project management skills. With a working knowledge of NPD from concept to launch you will be at home in a factory environment and be able to gain buy in from site based teams to deliver projects successfully. Your role will be critical in continued development of NPD on site and ensure there are maximum opportunities for NPD to excel.
