This is a great opportunity for a QA Manager or a QA Supervisor looking to step up into management.
It will initially be a 9 month maternity fixed-term contract but this could be extended or even go permanent.
The role will be diverse, and you will have a level of autonomy in the position. Typical accountabilities include -
*To manage the activities of the factory technical team, direct reports QA Supervisor and day time hygiene team.
*Provide good leadership and support to the quality, hygiene and operations team.
*To be a member of the HACCP team for the site.
*To assist during customer visits to site.
*To ensure that all factory incidents, customer complaints, non compliances and supplier issues are investigated thoroughly and any necessary corrective actions are taken to resolve any issues highlighted.
My client is looking for either a proven Quality Manager or will happily look at a QA Supervisor / QA Team Leader in the food manufacturing industry who is looking to step up into management.
You should be able to demonstrate a strong man management style and have genuine drive and determination to take this company forward. You will be flexible with working hours and will be someone prepared for a challenge.
