Health, Safety and Environmental Manager

An opportunity has arisen within the Management team for a highly knowledgeable and passionate individual looking to make a substantial contribution to a step change in Health, Safety and Environment.

The Health, Safety and Environment Manager will engage and influence the factory team to drive Health & Safety performance through strong and active leadership. You will proactively look for opportunities to improve and will coach and motivate to make the step change the business needs with respect to behavioural safety.

The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will liaise with the Group H & S colleagues and drive the focus on implementation of Group Health & Safety. You will influence and contribute to the development of our H&S policy locally to make sure that it is risk based and highly business-focused.

You will be a fully qualified Health & Safety practitioner and be educated to degree level or equivalent with a NEBOSH DIPLOMA, you will ideally have chartered membership of IOSH. You will have excellent influencing and communication skills - both written and verbal, using this knowledge to provide advice and support at all levels in the manufacturing environment.

£35,000 - £40,000+ benefits

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
