In this role you will be the company expert on agriculture, aquaculture and welfare. Building on our successes with HGP free beef and sow stall free pork, you will lead the development of strategies designed to underpin our brand credentials and create innovative offers for customers
You will responsible for initiating programmes in line with customer expectations, developing management frameworks to support and then implementing these across our supply base with a mind for commercial practicalities. In this role you will liaise closely with internal stakeholders, NGOs and government to gain support and where necessary endorsement for the Coles brand positions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships in these areas are vital. We are looking for extensive experience working within agriculture and/or aquaculture. Particular evidence of having successfully led and implemented commercially viable change programmes will be to your advantage. The ability to communicate across a wide and diverse stakeholder group is vital as is the vision to create a sustainable future for Coles in these arenas.
