Leading an established team of quality professionals, this role will have responsibility for driving quality performance across one of the company’s key manufacturing operations. The emphasis of the role will be on further developing quality and food safety systems in order to meet customer and legal requirements whilst working with colleagues across the business to ensure their support and total commitment to highest possible standards. The appointed candidate will also have significant exposure to high profile retail and food service customers and play an important role in audit processes both internally and externally.
Candidates, of graduate calibre and with a relevant technical food qualification, will have a proven track record gained in a similar role in a progressive food manufacturing environment. The ability to lead and develop a team and to influence broadly across a significant site is prerequisite, and experience of working with high profile customers is also essential. A deep understanding of the latest quality systems and audit standards within the food sector is a key requirement and ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have improved quality performance in their current/most recent role.
