Our client is one of the leaders in its sector manufacturing of number of instantly recognisable brands and own label products across the UK. Due to a recent restructure there are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for a team 25 engineers. Your day to day objectives will include, improving and delivering higher levels of operational performance and efficiencies, maintain the relationship with the operations team by embedding robust systems for communication and operate an effective planned maintenance programme.
You will be of degree calibre, be from the FMCG industry and have experience of working with lean tools such as autonomous maintenance. TPM experience, NEBOSH and knowledge of health and safety legislation are advantages. You will have experience managing engineering budgets and leading a small team of people.
