My Client develops and manufactures unique, innovative, quality products for its customers in South East Asia and imports to sites in the UK for supplying one of the leading retailers. As Technical and Development Manager you will have to provide a technical resource to the business so that product & quality requirements are met, customer challenges satisfied, relevant customer required paperwork & systems are completed and to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Together we are looking to recruit an experienced individual who has experience across both Product Development and Technical in the Food Industry, primarily to manage Technical commitment to one of the UK’s largest retailers. My Client is a UK exclusive, strategic and trusted supplier for this customer and you must have the ability to liaise daily with the customer technical team, maintain paperwork systems and testing in line with the required development critical path.
The successful individual will work as a key member of a global team who proactively propose solutions that address our customers’ highest priorities. The successful candidate will be a graduate of Food Technology or equivalent and demonstrate high knowledge of compliance alongside a knowledge of the food industries in which we operate and our Customers values and Technical processes. All business will be conducted in a way which demonstrates understanding and application of the principles of my Clients products.
Operating manufacturing outside of the UK will require you to be able to communicate technical requirements and queries clearly and daily with the team responsible for development and production operations there.
