Development Technologist

This prominent producer and exporter of innovative products within the food industry are looking for a proactive and ambitious Development Technologist to join their creative team.

Reporting to the Head of NPD you’ll play a key role in supporting the NPD process from concept to launch, ensuring that all new products are up to date with the latest food trends as well as in line with important customer requirements. You’ll be responsible for coordinating benchmarking panels as well as product samples whilst conducting customer presentations to really enhance the company’s product portfolio. You’ll also work closely with Concept and Process Development teams to assess factory capabilities, guaranteeing that NPD projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst being of the best quality. With your eye on the current market you’ll be seeking out business opportunities and keeping abreast of the latest developments in the industry from new process technologies to innovative product ranges.

Suit a passionate and ambitious food graduate who has experience of working in product development within the food manufacturing industry. With your understanding of NPD processes you’ll be at ease developing products from concept to launch, demonstrating excellent project management and presentation skills. You’ll have great communication skills as you’ll be working closely with customers and internal teams to achieve ambitious company goals.
