Senior Technical Manager - Hampshire - £35000-£40,000.
A Technical Manager is required to join Leading Food Manufacturer based in Hampshire.
Reporting to the Head of Technical you will be responsible for managing the technical services function for the business, including Raw Materials, Packaging control, Quality Systems and Technical Administration. The companies Quality management system to satisfy BRC code of Practice and customer requirements and lead the HACCP team.
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the technical department, and shall establish and maintain a review process of customer, business and industry codes of practice. Manage and train Technical Auditors. Communicate with customers on quality and technical matters. You will also establish and maintain a process of horizontal auditing against the Quality Management System to ensure compliance.
Applicants will ideally be educated to a degree level with previous experience working in a Technical Manager role with in the food industry. Dealing with all the major multiples, you must have excellent communication skills with the ability to build and sustain credible working relationships.
