I am currently recruiting for an expanding, successful Food Manufacturing company who require an ambitious, goal orientated Production Shift Manager. The company are one of the up coming leaders in their sector and with the help of new faces, they aren't thinking about stopping!
With prior experience as a Production Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing both the growth and development of your team using your sound knowledge of the industry. Through the use of frequent updates, you will be tasked in constantly pushing your team and the KPIs, predominantly looking in areas of waste reduction, Quality and Customer service levels.
It is critical that you come from a food manufacturing background with a sound knowledge of either chilled / ambient / meat / beverage / ready meal. You will also have exposure to Lean Manufacturing techniques and various examples at hand of where you have used it. The client needs their new Production Shift Manager to be strong in character and once again examples ready to hand of when you have used your sound management skills. Ideally you will also have a Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering or equivalent and be able to bring a youthful aspect the team.
