OUR CLIENT is an established supplier of quality Artisan sausages and other food to the multiple retailers and a number of Branded food products - these are premium quality products.
THE TECHNICAL MANAGER is a key senior role who will contribute to the success of the business by driving technical excellence across all facets of the business.
You will take responsibility for:
*Maintenance and update of Quality System, including internal auditing
*Site BRC management
*Site HACCP management
*Run site internal audit program
*Manage reporting team for best outcomes
*Develop relationships with customers and be a key point of contact
*Develop working relationships with suppliers to minimise supply problems
THE CANDIDATE will have a food science degree - certainly with a minimum of three years' experience at Technical Manager level.
It's essential that you understand the demands of major retailers and foodservice customers in a high risk environment.
As a key member of the management team you will represent the business in all technical areas and provide advice to the company executive on direction and expenditure to maintain the high standards required in the business.
