Our client is a rapidly growing innovative branded food business based at a number of sites around London. They are currently looking to recruit a talented and dynamic New Product Development Manager to grow, expand and develop their existing product range through the entire NPD/EPD cycle. Successful applicants will take a methodical approach to improve the current product range, whilst at the same time developing existing products and be confident in taking new product ideas from inception through to launch.
Applicants will also have experience in dealing with the manufacture of products for major retailers and will have direct experience in dealing with the development of branded products. They will also have a good track record of working closely with other departments to ensure that any changes are to the commercial benefit of the business.
Successful candidates will be proven NPD professionals, who have developed and progressed their careers within the food industry. Experience in developing ready meal & ambient products would be beneficial as well as having established contacts within the major multiples, however this is not an essential requirement. Applicants must be forward thinking and commercially focussed, understanding the impact that their actions have on the bottom line. Finally, you will be an enthusiastic, credible and self-motivated individual with high energy levels and a ‘can do’ attitude, whilst also being an outstanding communicator, able to drive cultural change, engage with the site teams and influence attitudes to adopt and impose new strategy and good factory practice.
