The business is looking to appoint a talented and dynamic General Manager to lead its senior team at a key strategic National Distribution Centre. The role will take responsibility for a key facility, driving performance across a balanced set of metrics, and delivering site strategy through a large team in a fast paced and pressurised environment. You will be accountable for the whole Distribution centre including, warehouse, finance, HR, Transport and co-packaging with P&L responsibility.
You will be a proven Logistics professional, and have a demonstrable track record of driving change through a performance orientated approach and a balance scorecard of KPI’s. You will be of degree calibre, and have a career showing continued progression all the while being capable of demonstrating the ability to bring sustainable change. You will be from a FMCG or Logistics & Supply Chain background, and have solid knowledge within this industry. Your training within blue chip business will enable you to engage and influence with a large site, and therefore create an environment that fosters performance improvement and a drive for results. You will be an outstanding communicator, able to drive cultural change, engage with the site teams and influence attitudes to adopt the new approach.
