Our client is a global supplier of functional and nutritional ingredients. Highly regarded throughout the industry, the company continues to go from strength to strength and it is as a direct result of this growth that a new position has been created for an International Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will have full budgetary responsibility for the range of ingredients throughout the EMEA region. Prioritising your accounts, you will provide the NPD team with commercial insights to shape their product innovation. Accounts will include manufacturers in the sports nutrition, infant nutrition, health and food sectors. With a fair amount of travel (around 30% of the time), you will do business with a range of customers across different cultures and these will vary in size from multi-national organisations to small, growing brands.
The successful candidate will have a degree in food science, sports nutrition, clinical nutrition or a similar discipline. Highly creative, and perhaps with some NPD experience, you will have a proven record in business development and a keen interest in nutrition/sports nutrition.
