If the answer is yes then I have an excellent opportunity for you, my client are a leading and innovative food manufacturer who supply both the U.K and European markets, they are currently recruiting for Technical/QA Coordinator to join the established Technical team.
This is a newly created role due to the growth and expansion of the business on the back of a successful 2011 where they achieved double digit growth in sales. The role will be based at their site in Yorkshire.
This role will report into the Site Technical manager where you will be responsible for supporting the Technical team with a wide variety of tasks. This role will allow the successful candidate to gain a broad insight to a number of Technical and Quality Assurance matters and will allow them to be involved in a wide variety of projects also.
My client is looking to develop the successful candidate on a long term basis and will offer the successful individual a long term career and personal development.
This role would suit a Food Science graduate who can show they have the personality, drive, enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly who wants to pursue a career in a Technical capacity in Food Manufacturing.
Ideally you will:
• Food Science or Food Technology qualification, 1 -2 years work experience in UK Food Manufacturing company or an industrial placement completed during your degree.
• Knowledge of HACCP and allergens
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under there own motivation
• Good communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to resolve problems
• Analytical mind
